Position Overview:

We seek an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding client relationships, and increasing revenue for our staffing/recruitment agency. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client partnerships, and contributing to the organization’s overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the client base.
  • Identify potential clients in the target market.
  • Bringing new business generation by meeting potential clients to understand
    needs and providing relevant solutions in recruitment.
  • Managing the staffing process to close new business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Create and implement effective strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
  1. Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client
  • Procuring new clients through direct contact, word-of-mouth, and cold calling.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure timely and successful placements.
  • Reviewing clients’ feedback and implementing necessary changes.
  1. Sales and Marketing:
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve or exceed targets.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling materials and campaigns.
  • Represent the agency at industry events and networking functions.

  • Negotiate terms and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable outcomes.
  • Crafting business proposals and contracts to draw in more revenue from clients.
  • Draft and review contracts, and work closely with legal teams when necessary.
  1. Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with internal teams, including recruiters and account managers.
  • Equipping staff with the technical and social skills needed to enhance sales.
  • Provide input on market trends and client needs to enhance service offerings.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven track record in business development within the staffing/recruitment industry.
  • Strong understanding of the staffing industry, including knowledge of various recruitment models (permanent, temporary, contract, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at various levels.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Availability for occasional travel as needed.
